  1. For example, we have an industrial client in southeastern WI that wanted to reach the automotive market. We placed ads targeting people looking for specific keywords located in the Detroit area, using desktop computers (rather than consumers using mobile devices) between the hours of 6 AM and 7 PM Monday thru Friday. This campaign was very successful as it generated numerous leads from Tier 1 and 2 prospects.

Display and Mobile Advertising Services

Google has various audiences; affinity, in-market and life events. For example, with affinity audiences you can target running enthusiasts. We also use programmatic campaigns to generate awareness and retargeting campaigns to remind someone that previously went to your website of your value proposition. The retargeting campaign ideally starts 30 days after the awareness campaign.

Programmatic awareness campaigns can also be used to better target prospects on display channels (banner advertising) and social channels (Facebook, Instagram). Platforms like Facebook provide better targeting for mobile advertising campaigns.

  1. For example, we created a programmatic awareness campaign for a client that wanted to reach bass fishermen in the southern states. We were able to target owners of boats (“X” brand or style of Boat using 3rd party data) (under 16 feet and between 16-26 feet in length), showed interest/affinity/activity/lifestyle in boating, fishing, had a retail shopping history at Bass Pro Shops. Rather than paying per click, display ads are purchased based on cost per thousand impressions (CPM’s) For a $1,000 budget the above-mentioned campaign generated 800,000 impressions over 30 days.
  2. Remarketing is a form of display advertising where a banner ad follows a prospect or customer around on the web after they have visited your website. You can specify the type of sites you want/don’t want your ads to appear as well as which page they visited on your website. Like PPC ads, you can target by location, time, device, search history, etc. to deliver a strong return on investment.
